Geochemical analysis of a sample taken from a superficial formation in the plateau above the magmatic amphibolites 40 km east of OuaddaDjallé gave a cobalt content of 0.64%

The Central African Republic has a vast expanse of sedimentary formations, adding up to more than 160,000 km2 which represents almost a quarter of the national territory
